About

Hi, my name is Karen Wasylowski. I am a retired CPA, living in Florida with my husband, Richie, and our dogs, Darcy and Alfred.
`
The idea for Darcy and Fitzwilliam came to me while watching the 1995 movie of Pride and Prejudice. I can even tell you the moment - it was during the dinner table scene at Aunt Catherine's lovely Rosings Park. She is grilling Elizabeth about her family and suddenly Darcy is darting his gaze from his aunt to Elizabeth, appearing ready to slink under the table. Then he looks across at his cousin, Colonel Fitzwilliam, who gifts him with a smirk and a barely suppressed laugh. I remember thinking to myself, "How typical of brothers - each enjoying the discomfort of the other," and I began to laugh. Sons and Daughters is a sequel to Darcy and Fitzwilliam, and the direct result of having those two gentlemen now firmly entrenched in my head, voices demanding that I write about their children.

Released on St. Valentine's Day was Book III to Darcy and Fitzwilliam, entitled WIVES AND LOVERS. My dear friends, Darcy and Fitzwilliam, are growing older now, but still are handsome, wise and funny. Their grown children are giving them headaches, however - involved with romance, children and the insanity of love.

Be forewarned that Book V to Darcy and Fitzwilliam, entitled

LOVE AND MADNESS, has begun...

PRIDE AND PREJUDICE
CONTINUES...

Darcy and Fitzwilliam joyously continues the story of Jane Austen's wonderful Pride and Prejudice, the romance and fun beginning with the newly married Darcy and Elizabeth and their adjustments to wedded harmony. Enter Darcy's cousin and closest friend, the charming but irascible Colonel Fitzwilliam, fresh from Waterloo and eager to storm the town. The two men are opposites in everything - looks, temperament and fastidiousness, but, stand as brothers for each other when disaster strikes...

This very funny, moving family saga continues with Book II, Sons and Daughters. The cousins, both now married, face the biggest challenge in their lives to date - wives and children. This book covers the next twenty years in the lives of Darcy and Fitzwilliam, with romance, joy, sadness and redemption while children grow and begin to make mistakes of their own....

Book III, Wives and Lovers. Darcy and Fitzwilliam are now in their sixties, but far from retirement. The children we met in Sons and Daughters are now all grown, with romances of their own, heartbreaks, love, sex, marriage, bereavement and the grandchildren have begun arriving - a grandparent's greatest revenge!

Book IV Saints and Sinners. ??The Darcy and Fitzwilliam families return as Colonel Fitzwilliam's volatile, passionate son, Matthew, confronts the woman he loved and lost years before to his rival... while his twin brother, Mark, the more steady of the two, decides to give up waiting for love to find him and settle in marriage with an old friend. As always nothing turns out as planned with the loves, laughs, tears and surprises of life pushing and pulling the families in directions they never saw coming.
